Why nothing new for a while?

Work.

Spending upto 60hrs a week infront of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign fixing other peoples mess doesn't lead to wanting to fire them up at home :(

Although I'm starting to looking Microsofts Expression Suite for some interface design jobs at work (.net integration etc). So it'll be a nice change at least.

My notebooks are getting full of ideas that need to be turned into something tangible. Once I get that happening you'll all be the first to know, I promise :)

[minor update] - for some reason DA decided I needed a blank journal entry every day, fixed now (I think)

I haven't really used Mental Ray that much. Usually I use Cinema4D's Advanced Rendering module. I played around with Mental Ray and Maxwell's render for a bit but found the workflow involved didn't fit with how I work.
