Why nothing new for a while?

Work.

Spending upto 60hrs a week infront of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign fixing other peoples mess doesn't lead to wanting to fire them up at home

Although I'm starting to looking Microsofts Expression Suite for some interface design jobs at work (.net integration etc).  So it'll be a nice change at least.

My notebooks are getting full of ideas that need to be turned into something tangible.  Once I get that happening you'll all be the first to know, I promise

[minor update] -  for some reason DA decided I needed a blank journal entry every day, fixed now (I think)

Music has stolen me away for a while....she'll let me go sometime...maybe

Finally I've got time to scratch myself.

The last 2 months I've been basically working 2 jobs.  My normal day job and a freelance job that I picked up.  The freelance job turned out to be huge.  Sure I got paid pretty well for it but after a while 70 and 80 hour weeks start to wear a bit thin. But its over now thank god, no more spending 17hrs a day infront of InDesign.  It was starting to creep into my dreams I swear.

So now its just the wait for my last cheque from them so I can go out and start building my Quadcore machine of joy .  My recording studio is now almost 100% legit after buying Cubase 4 the other day, which is nice and shinny from a software point of view and goes quite well with my drool worthy Focusrite preamp (the ultimate ebay snipe mwwhahahaha).  Anyway enough rambling about my audio stuff that never gets onto here anyway.

I've now had time to play around with Cinema4D 10 a bit with all of its improvements and hopefully some of those experiments will start to trickle onto here soon.  Speaking of which, less journal more creating!!
